Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma paint London city red!

The Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi pair took off on a bike ride through the busy bylanes of Britain’s capital after shooting for Yash Chopra’s romantic triangle; and they caused quite a commotion on the streets

Anushka Sharma, who was missing in action during the first schedule of Yash Chopra’s romantic saga in London, is finally with the director and her superstar co-star on foreign soil. The film’s other leading lady Katrina Kaif joins the team a little later.

On Anushka’s first day at the shoot, she filmed a bike scene with Shahrukh Khan. One quick look at the images brings back memories of Taani and Suri’s alter ego Raj riding a similar two-wheeler in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Obviously, their characters in Yash Chopra’s flick look far more hip and happening than the small town dancing partners of RNBDJ.

According to our birdie, who came up with some interesting goss related to Anushka’s first day on the sets of the YRF film, after canning the scene the RNBDJ couple took off cruising along the streets of London on a fun bike ride. Anushka, who was a pillion rider in the film sequence this time – in RNBDJ she drove, remember? – chose to take the superstar for a ride. Immediately security was doubled to keep curious onlookers at bay.

As of now there’s no clarity about the Band Baaja Baaraat girl’s role in the film – some say it’s an extended cameo on the lines of Rani Mukerji’s character in Veer-Zaara and some insist she plays a pivotal role. Whatever it may be, from what we have heard and seen Anushka’s really having a blast working with her first co-star again!
