Jab Tak Hai Jaan Got NOC From Pakistan Censor Board

The hugely anticipated Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma starrer Jab Tak Hain Jaan is all set to release in Pakistan amidst rumours that the film would be banned in the country, as it was believed to have portrayed Pakistan in a negative light.

Filmmaker Yash Chopra's final project would now be released in Pakistan after Yash Raj Films (YRF) assured that the plot of the film would not hurt the sentiments of Pakistanis.

"The film has received one NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the ministry of regulations and services and is now awaiting another from the ministry of commerce. After this it will be all set to arrive in Pakistan," The Express Tribune quoted chairman of IMGC Global Entertainment Amjad Rasheed, as saying.

"I met Aditya Chopra at his father's funeral and he assured me that the film is not against Pakistan or its security agencies and it does not have any negative religious connotations. It has a positive vibe overall and I am glad that one of the most awaited films of the year is finally releasing in Pakistan," Rasheed added

Avtar Panesar, Vice President of International Operations at YRF said: "I can confirm that the film has nothing that may be construed as anti-Pakistan; (it) is a simple love story. We have always respected the law in any of the countries we release our films in and Pakistan is no exception. We will respect the law of Pakistan and the release will take place once the formalities are completed.

Apart from being Yash Chopra's final project, it is also the only Shahrukh Khan film to come out this year and his first film with Katrina Kaif, which makes celebrities and audiences alike excited about its release.

SRK Katrina Together In LUX Ad.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and actress Katrina Kaif, who are set to scorch the screen in ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ (JTHJ), have come together for an ad campaign for beauty soap bar Lux.

The actors will endorse two new variants - Lux Peach and Cream, and Lux Strawberry and Cream - in their first ever endorsement together, said a statement.

The ad will go on air on Diwali, Nov 13, the same day when JTHJ hits the screens.

Shah Rukh came on board for Lux in 2005, and featured in a commercial with Bollywood beauties Hema Malini, Sridevi, Juhi Chawla and Kareena Kapoor.

This time, the Bollywood Badshah will feature as a `bekaboo` (uncontrollable) with Katrina. In the ad, fragrance of the soap drives Shah Rukh `bekaboo`.

"I`m happy to be associated with Lux yet again! The fragrance of Lux will captivate you just as it has made me `bekaboo`. The fragrance of Lux that stands for love and sensuality brings out the lover in me," Shah Rukh said at the shoot.

The commercial is shot and directed by French director Juan Delcan. It`s Sufi-inspired music score has been composed by acclaimed poet and lyricist Gulzar, and sung by Sonu Nigam.

Katrina`s look in the ad is styled by fashion designer Rocky S.

"When I think of Lux, I think of fun and spontaneity. Lux embodies a type of a woman rather than just soap and of course the fragrance that embodies sensuality," said the actress.

SRK: We will celebrate with Jab Tak Hai Jaan for Yashji

Legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra passed away less than a month before his last directorial release, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, out on November 13.

At a press conference to promote the film at Mumbai's Yash Raj studios, its lead cast -- Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma -- fondly remembered the late filmmaker.

"I am very sad he is not with us anymore," Shah Rukh said. "It has been a huge jolt, extremely shocking. But I can't feel his loss. There is a strange feeling that he has not gone. He is still here. I have worked with him for 20 years and I am sure we will continue to watch his films for another 500 years."

SRK is Thoroughly A Gentle Man : Katrina Kaif

He is very gentlemanly. He will always open the door for you. If you come in, he'll stand up and he always pays attention to the small things," Katrina, 28, told reporters Monday

Plans to shoot the song have been cancelled after Yash Chopra's death. He died of multi-organ failure October 21.

"We had actually done the entire costume fittings, there were 12 saris which Manish (Malhotra) had made, and Yashji saw each one of them. He had also planned a sequence in the water (in freezing cold) and we were laughing about it. He said now we will just go to Switzerland and party," said the actress.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan also stars Anushka Sharma and will hit theatres on Diwali.

Climax Of YRF's Next To Shoot At Ladakh

Yash Chopra was toying with the idea of revisiting one of his favourite destinations, the Kashmir valley, as a backdrop for his directorial next starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
The last time the snow-dusted valley featured in Chopra's films was in the 1976 blockbuster Kabhie Kabhie, after which the filmmaker, known for his choice of the most beautiful locales, had shifted his attention to the Swiss Alps for the longest time. So much so, the production house even conducted a recce of Kashmir, raising anticipation levels there.

However, the climax of Yash Chopra's yet-untitled film will be shot in Ladakh and not Kashmir, only because Shah Rukh suggested the venue.
A source close to the film had said, "Yashji loves the snow in Kashmir and has shot two of his most romantic films, Daag and Kabhi Kabhie, there. They need a snow-capped landscape for the climax. Hence, initially, he contemplated shooting in Kashmir."
However, Shah Rukh came up with the idea of Ladakh, where he had shot for Mani Rathnam's Dil Se, and still has fond memories of the place, the source revealed.
That's when and how the plan changed. So this winter, the film's unit will head for a ten-day climax shoot to Ladakh instead of Kashmir.
Yash Raj Films' official spokesperson confirmed the news saying, "The next schedule is in Ladakh."

Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma facing trouble in London

Shahrukh Khan yet again is romancing his Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi girl Anushka Sharma in Yash Chopra’s untitled film. The couple recently started shooting for the movie in London, but is facing tough time because of the crowd.

Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma facing trouble in London You have already seen Anushka enjoying the bike ride with Shahrukh on the streets of the British capital. Well, as per reports, most of the scenes featuring SRK and Anushka have to be shot on the streets, and the frenzied Bollywood fans are the biggest hindrance in the process.

Due to the crowd, the camera folks and the sound engineers are unable to work properly. Though adequate security measures are being taken to keep the crowd at bay, it often results in stopping of the shoots, reveal reports. As a result, the shooting of the film is taking place at a very slow pace, but nothing can be done because the script demands shooting on the roads.

Needless to say, the King Khan is also being stalked by his fans. They are apparently following his every move from the hotel where he is staying. Since the star is not only shooting for the movie but is also holidaying in London with his kids, it’s difficult for him to be in hiding.

Earlier, too, Shahrukh shot for Yash Chopra’s next in London with Katrina Kaif, but at that time things were quite easy on the sets. However, this time the situation is a bit different as major part of the shooting needs to be done on the roads.

No matter what, Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s chemistry looks palpable. The photos of their street romance have a very fresh vibe to them. Are you happy to see Shahrukh back with Anushka in a romantic film?

Ahead, catch a glimpse of the SRK-Anushka street bonhomie!

The ever lively Anushka Sharma is seen enjoying a bike ride with SRK in this still from Yash Chopra’s comeback film. Three years post their first pairing, the duo still rock together.

Anushka Riding Bike In RNBDJ(2009)
If the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi 2009 movie  had Anushka Sharma taking the handle and a wimpy Shahrukh Khan sitting pillion on a bike through the crowded lanes of an Indian small town, the 2012 movie directed by Yash Chopra has them swapping places.

It’s Shahrukh who hits the throttle this time, with a helmet and aviators on, while Anushka Sharma sits pillion.

The shoot of the film is presently underway in London and the stills of Shahrukh Khan and Anushka too look like clicked on a London road.

New: Stills from YRF’s Next featuring SRK and Anushka!

The untitled film marks the comeback of Yash Chopra to direction after a long gap. The leading lady of the movie is Katrina Kaif
The film is set to release on Diwali this year.

SRK-Katrina's concert stalled.

Actor Salman Khan must be a happy man now, thanks to the fact that a concert that was supposed to feature his friend-turned-foe Shah Rukh Khan and ex-flame Katrina Kaif is not happening for now.

SRK-Katrina
According to reports, touted as the most ambitious Bollywood concert, to be held in UK (London's Hyde Park to be precise) to mark 100 years of Indian cinema 'Celebrate Bollywood' has now been postponed.

Due to take place om July 10, 2012, the concert which was to feature Anushka Sharma, Shahid Kapoor, Shreya Ghoshal and Mika Singh along side SRK-Katrina might happen in three months time now.
Reports suggest that the organisers did not have enough time to publicise the concert, resulting in a low buzz about the same and the team behind the show decided to stall it for the time being.

Rumours suggest that Salman wasn't impressed when Katrina signed YRF's untitled project opposite SRK and guess with their much anticipated concert not happening any time soon now, Salman's bound to have the last laugh!
