Aanjjan Srivastav's SRK connection!

Veteran actor Aanjjan Srivastav is best remembered for playing the central role on Waghle Ki Duniya. Very few people know that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan did an episode in Waghle.... And this marked the beginning of what was going to be a long association on the professional front for the two.

SRK and Aanjjan later worked together in Circus and went on to do films like Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman and Chak De India. "It was always a pleasure working with Shah Rukh. After every shot, he would ask for my assurance if it was good or not. That was the hallmark of a good newcomer and a star in making. He is very energetic and hardworking." The veteran actor shares an incident, "There was this person who wanted to make a film with an experienced actor. He was not ready to sign Shah Rukh because he was a rank newcomer then. I was a bit upset and told him that a day will come when people will have to wait for his dates." Talk about identifying talent early.
