SRK and Farah Khan show some love to the cameras! ‎

How did Shahrukh Khan, Boman Irani & Farah Khan bring the house down at ‘Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’ music preview?
This was followed by the music preview of a song, ‘Ramba mein samba’, sung by Usha Uthup, where the onscreen lovebirds were seen impersonating DDLJ, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Aapke Hain Kaun? It was an amazingly funny video, but we must tell you that of all the three avatars that she had donned, Farah looked best as Kajol in DDLJ.

The madness continued, as producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Bela Sehgal Bhansali became targets of the mad bunch’s jokes. Shahrukh said, “I am happy that Bhansali has finally made a fun and frothy film. Last time I had told him to make one, he came up with Black. Some digs were taken at Bela as well, and she sportingly took them in her stride. She said that after making Farah act even she could take up acting offers in the future. It was one mad evening and we must say that nobody entertains like SRK does!

The tone for the evening was set when five minutes into the event, VJ Cyrus Broacha brought to notice the brassiere on which Boman Irani and Farah Khan were seen hanging on to, in the latest poster of their forthcoming film, Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi. Cyrus asked Boman, if he was really playing the role of a lingerie salesman in Shirin Farhad Ki Toh…Boman and Farah quipped that here nobody gets the pronunciation of ‘lingerie’ right, so might as well call it a bra. Soon after, Shahrukh Khan was called on to the stage and was introduced as some newbie actor.

Now, Shahrukh, who had overheard the indecent undie-talk backstage, couldn’t resist taking a go at Boman and Farah. He said, “I know who Shirin and Farhad are, but what is ‘toh nikal padi’? Does it have anything to do with the err…whatever you were just talking about? Farah said, “It referred to Boman’s bra.” The laugh riot continued for a while and Cyrus kept making fun of budget constraints, Parsi community, unpaid bills and the old ladies who are a part of the film. Before the spoof poster was about to be revealed, King Khan goofed up and revealed that it was based on his cult hit, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. An embarrassed-looking Farah, pulled up SRK for ruining the surprise, and then the spoof poster was unveiled.
